I'On Village Walk
Checklist and Map to Starting Point

The map at right shows the general vicinity of I'On, in Mt. Pleasant, SC, just NE of Charleston.  The village walk start point is right on I'On Square, just off the traffic circle on Mathis Ferry Road.

To reach I'On from the direction of Charleston and the Cooper River Bridge, turn left, North off Johnnie Dodds Blvd. on to Shelmore Blvd. at the CVS Pharmacy, drive past the Bi Lo on the right and go half way around the round-a-bout on Mathis Ferry Road.  I'On Square is just beyond the round-a-bout and parking can be found behind the buildings on the square.

Walk Checklist

1.	Comfortable closed toe walking shoes & socks
2.	Cool clothing for summer. (shorts are fine, the trail is clear of overgrowth).  Appropriate clothing for other seasons
3.	Bug repellant
4.	Water or hydration (1 quart)
5.	Binoculars
6.	Map to start of trail on I’On Square or check www.ioncommunity.com
7.	Sunscreen
8.	Hat
9.	One per group: compass, first aid kit, trail guide, order form and & $2.50 fees for patch order. Net proceeds go to Mt. Pleasant green space fund
