The Creek Club

Seated on Shelmore Point, where Shelmore and Hobcaw Creeks come together is the I'On Creek Club.  Occasional I'Onissimo! Concerts are held here, by the water.  Often a DNR permit is obtained so people can come listen to the music in their boats.  The Creek Club claimed the widest porch in the Lowcountry at the time of its construction and is patterned after the beloved Sea Island Yacht Club in Rockville.  Musicians take the wide porch as their stage and the audience enjoys the hospitality of the lawn as the sun sets behind them lighting up everything with the golden light of day's end.  Concerts at this location are generally held at high tide.  The Music for the Peaceful Village concert was one of the events held at the Creek Club.

The Creek club is at the Eastern end of the Marsh Walk, which affords a delightful approach from other parts of the community.  Information on the Marsh Walk is found on the I'On Village Walk website.
