Musicians Welcome!
I'Onissimo!
has combined the artistic talent and gifts of people living in the I'On
community with many friends from outside for over four years. All groups
welcome non-resident amateur and professional musicians, Some of the music
of I'Onissimio! comes from Brickyard, Snee Farm, downtown Charleston, West
Ashley, Isle of Palms, Sullivan's Island and North Charleston.
I'Onissimo! practices are quite fun and social, but our musicians are
serious about presenting their music in a community context which helps bring
the appreciation of diverse types of music to families and children in a
relaxed, approachable form. If you're interested in playing with I'Onissimo!,
contact us.
Over 50 I’Onissimo! concerts have been held since September 2000. The organization has grown from one performing group to four and now involves over 35 musicians. It is believed to be the only neighborhood-based performance group of its type in the State of South Carolina.
I’Onissimo! is supported by
The I’On Trust.
