In case of rain, the concert will be held indoors at 32 Sowell Street in IOn. Directional signs to the concert location will be in place from the Mathis Ferry Round-a-bout.
Blankets and folding chairs are suggested for lawn seating. Short legged folding chairs where the front legs are somewhat longer than the back work best at the amphitheater. These are sometimes called beach chairs.
Music inspired by fall foliage colors will include a tribute to Richard Harris (including selections from Harry Potter - Sorcerer's Stone and classics from his early career), some Cole Porter, classical and patriotic favorites, songs for the little and big kids to enjoy. Performing will be Peggy Orange, Stacy Hammond; Susan Kraybill; Cynthia Rosengren (in her first IOnissimo! performance) on Flute, Faye Fisher on keyboards, and Jack Hayes on Bass Clarinet. Guest harmonica performer "Sparky" Brooks of Lowcountry Collection will also perform.
