I'Onissimo
Brass Concert |
Mt. Pleasant, SC - The I'Onissimo Brass will present a free family concert, Brass before Boo on Sunday, October 27th. at 4:00 pm at the Mt. Pleasant Amphitheater on Westlake in I'On Village, Mt. Pleasant, SC. The concert will include numbers inspired by the Halloween season. Children are invited to wear their costumes.

Performing with the group will be Anna Draftz, F. Horn; Dick Foreman, Tuba; Ray Goins; Trombone; and special guests John and Walt on Trumpet.
Pieces on the program include the Spiritual (Them Dry Bones) Bones; Jump Swing Fever; The Liberty Bell March by John Phillip Sousa; Old Man River and Hey Jude by the Beatles.
Blankets or short legged folding chairs are suggested for hillside seating. The audience is welcome to bring and enjoy their own picnics.
Merry Making Face & Body Painting will offer face painting for the children for a nominal charge.
I'Onissimo! welcomes amature musicians from throughout the Lowcounty. Members come from Mt. Pleasant, West Ashley and the Islands. Those interesting in joining the group as performers should contact Julia Hamilton at 849-8481.
